He is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and was a CFA Charterholder from 1998 to 2013.

He has a 25-year professional career in national and international banking.

He started his career as a financial analyst at the Research Department of the Barcelona Stock Exchange and later worked at GESIURIS and GAESCO GESTIÓN.

He created GAM Columbus, a fund managed by Global Asset Management, and collaborated with GAM in its early stages in Spain.

For six years, he pursued his career at the Barcelona and London offices of Merrill Lynch.

During the 1999-2000 academic year, he held the position of Secretary General at IESE.

As Director of Product and a member of the Investment Committee at DiverInvest, Javier is responsible for evaluating the various products offered in the market and selecting those that best fit our clients’ profiles. He also participates in the investment proposal specifically designed for each client, taking into account their characteristics and needs.
